I love holidays, mainly because of the food! In our house, all holidays center around food first, everything else can come as it may, LOL. So long as the food is decided upon, that’s all that matters for our celebrations. Well, of course being with each other, but that’s sort of a given. We do that every day! hehe
Three other things that belong together: Graham crackers, Hershey bars, and marshmallow Peeps—also know as S’mores!
S’mores: The Easter Version
- 1 graham cracker sheet; break in half
- 1/2 Hershey’s bar
- 1 Peep
You can roast the Peeps like traditional marshmallows or pop them in the microwave (assembled) for a few seconds, then sandwich it in between the chocolate and graham cracker. I was never really a fan of Peeps on their own, but combine them with chocolate and graham cracker? Match made in heaven!
To think, all the years I snubbed Peeps in my Easter basket when I could have been making Peeps S’mores!!
Do you have any unusual or creative uses for Peeps? My grandmother puts Peeps in her coffee, LOL. I guess sugar is sugar, right? They are so cute and colorful, an Easter basket isn’t complete without them.

How Creative! Have you seen the chocolate covered Marshmallow Bunnies they put out at Easter.. you can totally cut out a step and just smoosh one of those bad boys between to Graham Crackers too! Peeps are totally rockin though!

But you burnt and squashed the Peeps!! Isn’t that a little bit cruel?!
It’s okay – I smashed some Annie’s bunny grahams the other day.
hehe, this is an awesome idea, Jenn! And awesome pictures, too.

ADORABLE and a great use of some sugar! My mother mailed skylar peeps. Oy vey. We may be making smores out of them. I LOVE that your g-ma puts them in…coffee! CLASSIC!
I was just thinking about the uses for Peeps and you have found such a simple yet fun one!
I must try this.

A girl after my own Peep-loving heart
These look amazing! Other than opening the package and leaving them out to get a little stale, I just eat them as is. HOWEVER, s’more form looks way, way better!

Awesome! I saw these on Martha Stewart yesterday and thought it was a good idea…mainly because I hate peeps so I imagine they would be much better sandwiched between chocolate and graham crackers
