It’s (gluten-free) Peanut Butter Jelly Time!!!

by j3nn on June 14, 2011

I took a classic and made it gluten-free with Udi’s gluten-free bread. The outcome? So good, you would never suspect it’s gluten-free!!

Three ingredients:

  • Creamy peanut butter (Skippy Natural)
  • Grape jelly
  • Udi’s gluten-free white bread

Gluten-free never looked sooo good. Winking smile Delicious!

The other part of my brunch involved this almond milk yogurt that Sara @ Mastering Public Health tipped me off to.

I found it at Nature’s Pantry the other day, so I picked up one strawberry and one blueberry flavor. I was excited because it’s: soy-, dairy-, and gluten-free.

It’s low in protein, but I can live with that. Smile

Sara was right, it IS fantastic!!! The texture is like pudding. Yummmm!

I ate it—gleefully–with some fresh strawberries. The price is reasonable: $1.65. I’ll definitely pick some up again when I’m at Nature’s Pantry. Great find, Sara! Thanks. Open-mouthed smile

And because it’s probably in your head, here’s the video:

I need to find that yogurt — good to know that the texture/taste is good!

PBJ is a classic and I will always love it!

Yay, thanks for the shout-out! Sorry I didn’t get a chance to see this ’til now. I also like Ricera (made with organic brown rice, but it’s pricier). Yeah, the only issue with non-dairy/soy yogurts is their lack of protein. :/ But they’re so good and do the job, especially if one wants to avoid either ingredient. So glad you enjoyed it!
