Confession: I’ve never been happier to see a summer end than this one. The extreme weather, the nonexistent air conditioning, the rain, the allergies. Nope. Will not miss summer 2011 one bit.
Secret: This recipe
Curious? I won’t keep this secret too long. I’ll blab about it soon.
Confession: I was craving fresh strawberries even though they’re way out of season. So I bought a quart of organic Driscoll’s and ate the WHOLE quart in one day.
$6.49 never tasted so good. I bought another one, working on it now. I can’t get enough fresh fruit lately, especially crisp red grapes.
Secret: BIG drastic changes are coming to my blog in the next few weeks. I have been working on it, hence my absence. I’ll reveal this secret soon too. But for now you’ll have to stay on the edge of your seat.
Confession: My in-laws are coming for a visit in 2 weeks or so and I’m kinda looking forward to it!
We’ve been crazy busy working and planning for their arrival, on top of a zillion other things, so life has been a whirlwind these past few weeks, but LIFE IS GOOD!
Secret: Besides the big change coming to my blog, I have another BIG secret to reveal. Maybe tomorrow, maybe not. But soon! Promise.
Confession: We have been working and planning for the upcoming weeks/months, but I’ve also managed to find time to shop every day for the past 10 days. I kid you not. Not always fun shopping, most was necessary shopping, like for tires for the Crackillac. $1,000 for 4 tires!! Geez. We need to open a coffee AND tire shop.
I’ve been doing some Fall clothes shopping. That’s necessary, right?
When Dustin’s family comes here, we’re going to go to NYC, so I wanted to get a pair a comfy walking shoes. I bought a pair of Skechers that were hybrid sneakers with a thin velcro strap, but when I got them home I realized they pinched my toes. Not good. So we returned them the next day and I got these instead:
I walked around the store with them longer than the last pair. Much better! Super comfortable. And really cute. I like the neutral color and that they are slip-ons. Can’t wait to sport them around the city.
Confession: I shop on Amazon.com A LOT. I’m pretty much addicted, lol. I was so smitten with the Chebe bread mix that I made the other day, that I ordered 8 boxes of it. LOVE!
I picked this box of Better Batter gluten-free flour up at Nature’s Pantry yesterday. Very pricey ($13+) but I saw it used in a recipe on another blog and just had to get some when I saw it.
Do you have any confessions or secrets? Tell me about them!
We’re running late, have to drop my mom off at my grandma’s now. Be back with more confessions later.
