Happy Thanksgiving, friends!
Our smoked turkey was delivered yesterday and it’s still defrosting while we work on everything else. It says to eat it cold or heat in oven, so we’ll pop it in the oven an hour before dinner. Our cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory was also delivered yesterday. Yay!
Mom has been busy cooking in the kitchen since early the morning, I joined her mid-morning for some Thanksgiving feast preparation. Most of everything is ready to be cooked and served. We’re taking a break before dinner while the dough rises for the rolls. Can’t wait to eat! Probably going to take a nap first, I haven’t been sleeping well the past few days. I seem to have strained neck-shoulder syndrome right now. I woke up the other day with the neck and shoulder pain, and it gets worse when I lie down at night to sleep. I was surprised by all of the ways you can get it, and sure enough, I seem to have or do all of the things that contribute to it. We turned our mattress around today, going to get a new pillow and buy a new humidifier. My ongoing sinus and allergy problems seem to be one of the big contributing factors.
Anyway… let’s talk turkey! Hopefully ours will be tasty. And hopefully our kitties and doggie won’t get to it first like naughty LOLCat…
Hehehe
Soon enough, this will be us…
Hope everyone is having a great day! What’s on your Thanksgiving menu and what are you thankful for today? I am thankful for so much, I don’t even know where to begin. I’ll just say
Life. Is. Beautiful.
Be back later with our Thanksgiving feast update.
Enjoy, everyone!

I’m thankful that you came into my life. Our emails and friendship means the world!! (And Dustin’s blog crisis management skills are a welcome perk, too
)
“I woke up the other day with the neck and shoulder pain, and it gets worse when I lie down at night to sleep” <– we are twins. The past 2 weeks I have the worst neck/shoulder pain. I know why. It's 75% computer related at least I'd say. And then laying on it makes it even worse. I have tried to many self-care, self-massage remedies…but nothing really works. And since we all live at our computers..not sure what to do long term.
Eat cheesecake, that sounds like a good remedy
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Jennifer!
