I usually don’t buy food at Target, but we were there shopping for some things on our never-ending house-needs list yesterday afternoon and couldn’t help but stop to admire the gorgeous berry selection.
I picked up a pint of blueberries and 12 oz blackberries – only $3.49 each! I usually pay $4 for a half pint. I know… I know, they’re not organic and I’ll probably die from the pesticides and likely genetically modified seeds tomorrow, etc.
Worth it. heh
After all the junk food we have eaten in the past few weeks while we moved into our new house, the only things I want now are fresh fruits and veggies and water… with lemon.
I might have to buy some more. I’ll probably go through both containers by tomorrow.
Perfectly crisp, perfectly sweet. Best berries ever.
I’m not really a cereal-eater anymore, that’s Dustin’s thing, but this morning I dipped into his cereal stash for a bowl of “Life” (generic Hannaford brand) cereal with banana, blueberries, and goat milk:
Yes. I did slice my banana with the spoon. I have enough dirty dishes in the queue. Ya feel me?
So good.
I didn’t even really need the cereal, just the bananas + berries + milk would have been tasty too.
Good news! Just found my camera’s battery charger in the heaps of things to unpack and put away. So I’m about .0001% of the way back to “normal.”
So much to do! More house posts on the way, but first, I must organize house! Be back later…

haa, my camera charger was one of the first things I hunted for while unpacking…
and just this morning I found the box with all my nice jewelry and watch, three weeks later, so… there’s the perspective of what’s most important!
we have some awesome fresh raspberries from the farmers market right now – I have been known to stand at the counter and eat a WHOLE pint within 20 minutes!
hope you two are enjoying the house, can’t wait to see more!

I’ve been eating berries non-stop for the last two weeks too! I can’t get enough! I still have to wait a month probably until Ontario has strawberries in season.
After consuming a lot of junk food these not much organic berries are good choices. I liked that breakfast meal with berries+milk+bananas. That’s delicious & healthy.
Hi Jenn. Glad things are getting back to normal and you are settling in. Gotta admit, those berries look AMAZING…. Have a wonderful Sunday.
Blueberry is my all time favorite. Sometimes it happens that my mom used to hide them from me as I used to finish them all never sparing it for my papa or brother. Really love to eat them a lot.
Hi J3NN,
I always have blueberries in my meal everyday… one of my favs! Oh and nice pics! What’s your cam? I love taking pics and would like to have those quality pics of your camera
Thanks in advance!
Anna
Your cereal looks great! I love topping my bowl of Kellogg’s FiberPlus Cinnamon Oat Crunch with bananas and berries too – so good!
Hi Jenn.. Now I am very excited to try this and i actually missed blueberries now.. It is one of the favorites of my husband too..
Blueberries is one of my favorites! I can always finish a small container and sometimes two in one sitting! Looking forward to your house posts!
Mmm, love berries (and Target
)! I could go for that bowl of cereal with berries right now!
The little berries are luscious-looking. I wouldn’t stay awake worrying about them as long as they’re washed properly. I’ve learned to try for organic, but organic isn’t always desirable, in fact, I’ve held up some limpy, expensive lousy looking organic produce and put it down again, going for the commercial. So shoot me!~;-)

We miss you J3nn, come back into our lives ….
Awww, I miss you guys too, j!!! I’m making a come back very soon. We have lots to catch up on!
I have blueberry trees in my backyard, so I am fortunate that I dont have to spend money in buying them, I this they are indeed a fantastic breakfast. I usually have them with cereals or I make a milk-berry shakes (I make them in different styles and tastes)! they tastes like heaven!
