Two Awesome Vegan Recipes (gluten-free, grain-free, soy-free)

by j3nn on June 28, 2012

I have exciting news: I created two new delicious gluten-free, vegan-friendly recipes AND a new recipes section of the blog. Well, sorta.

The main recipe index is just a temporary plain Jane page until the new main recipe index is published. But it will do for now while I work on that!

1.) Coleslaw — Mayo-free (vegan, egg-free, dairy-free, grain-free, soy-free, Paleo) – It’s SO GOOD and tastes JUST like the kind with mayo! You can’t tell that it’s mayo- and egg-free! It’s amazing.

2.) Lentils with Mushrooms and Garlic – This is a versatile (and easy!) recipe-starter that can be converted to many, many recipes by simply adding additional flavorings, sauces, ingredients, etc. It can easily become a staple, for sure!

More recipes and updates and blog renovations to come! I haven’t forgotten about the house posts, I’m working on them (and the house!). I know you guys are anxious to see and hear more, so I’ll have that ready soon. Smile

Going to have a late night supper with the hubs. There’s the most spectacular breeze tonight; cool and comfortable, aka perfect sleeping weather. Of course tomorrow is supposed to be 93 and the day after 95, so I will savor this while it lasts.

My thoughts are with those in Colorado afflicted by the horrible wild fires. I can’t even imagine. My heart goes out to all the little animals. Be well, friends!

Peace Peace and Love Red heart

Thanks for sharing the lentil recipe! Although I love lentils, I have such a hard time using them in different ways. My go to lentil meal is a soup.. that’s about it! Going to give your recipe a try, thanks for sharing!

Hi Jenn. That lentil recipe looks like a keeper!!! Thanks for sharing. And I’m thinking of those around the fires too. Human and animal. Have a good Friday.

You are so cool! I do not suppose I have read through anything like this before.
So good to find someone with original thoughts on this subject.
Really.. thank you for starting this up. This website is something that’s needed on the web, someone with some originality!
