Got, Give, and Grew

I got a “few” packages from Amazon today.

House stuff for another post and some of my favorite foodie goodies.

I Red heart buying in bulk.

I restocked my nutritional yeast stash. I thought I had another canister of it but I can’t find it. It either doesn’t exist or I haven’t unpacked it since we’ve moved, so I bought some more just to be sure because I’m down to my last scoop and that makes me nervous, lol! Winking smile

Yes, we’re still moving into our new house. It’s amazing how much work settling into a house is!

2 large containers of Nutiva extra virgin coconut oil. 108 oz total between the two containers! Surprised smile I use it for everything, from cooking to a skin moisturizer. I love it. A lot. Even Dustin uses it now for the medium chain triglyceride benefits.

Look at what I grew in our garden!!

Our first zucchini harvest. Open-mouthed smile So excited about it! I haven’t had a garden in so long and now it’s a sweet, sweet reality. I will have a garden post soon. It’s in my ever-growing queue of posts to write. heh

I give you this most amazing chocolate avocado no-milk shake recipe because it’s too good not to share with the rest of humanity:

Dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free. Vegan- and Paleo-friendly. 100% YUMMY!

Make this NOW. It tastes like a chocolate pudding pop! Get the recipe here.

I went to my follow-up doctor’s appointment on Wednesday. Diagnosis: Train wreck! Not even kidding. My doctor’s exact words, lol. My anemia is pretty bad. That coupled with my low levels of potassium + chloride = not good. So I’ve been supplementing with iron and potassium, but I’m also focusing on a diet rich in iron and potassium, which involves lots of chocolate and avocado and coconut water. Rolling on the floor laughing I like this treatment. I’m still feeling sluggish and worn out but I know this is temporary and fixable. In the midst of living the busy life I kind of neglected to, ya know, make an effort to keep myself alive. Ugh. Hopefully I’ll feel better soon.

I’m going to eat a couple sheets of nori for a snack. Am I the only one that eats them plain, like a cracker?! I love it. 10 calories for a large sheet and loaded with nutrients, total win.

Coconut water and seaweed… for snacks. I sound like such a hippie. I’m not though! I’m the most out-of-place shopper at my local hippie mart, lol. Good thing I get most of my foodie goodies from Amazon. Laughing out loud

Well, keep eating chocolate, and I’m sure all your problems will disappear. Sure… Good luck, any way. And you have a local hippie mart? That sounds intersting!

It is good to know that you are now starting to reap the results of your work on your garden. Those zucchinis look so good.
